You probably know this story if you have thought, “I want my dog to stop chewing”.

So my lovely canine friend has tested my patience yet again. His incessant need to chew is absolutely driving me insane. First the chair legs! Now??? My shoes!!!! Stop the madness…

I come home to his woeful eyes and warm greeting that makes me feel all fuzzy inside and then I see the latest act of his wrath of destruction. My newest pair of $150 Nike’s!

I rant! I rave! But he has no clue to what is wrong, so I just kneel down in front of him, cup his furry face in my hands and plead with him to please stop chewing my things.

Deep down I know it’s his separation anxiety that leaves him so unnerved that he must have an outlet. But, really now…can I get a bit of help here??? I am running out of patience with trying to get my chomping canine to cease munching on everything…

I am no dog whisperer, nor do I begin to understand how to make him feel like he’s not so alone when I am gone. So I will do some research, buy the best on the market and learn to train my baby properly so I can own a pair of shoes to see them get worn out. And not by his chewing them to shreds.

If you are like me, I love my dog so very much and will do anything so that we can live together peacefully without his terrorizing my kitchen table’s leg. Please someone help my dog to stop chewing everything I own!!
